# Plans, Tiers & Feature Gates

> The Voxworks subscription tiers — included minutes, overage rates, call concurrency, team size and the features each plan unlocks — plus what happens when an account has no active plan.

## What are Plans, Tiers & Feature Gates?

Every Voxworks account sits on a subscription tier. Your tier sets how many minutes are included each billing cycle, what you pay per minute once you go over, how many calls can run at the same time, how many teams and members your plan allows, and which capabilities — API access, live listening, advanced analytics and more — each plan includes. You can see your current tier and change it from **Settings > Billing**, in the **Current Subscription Plan** card.

This page documents the tier ladder itself. For what happens the moment a call is billed (the 60-second minimum, credits-before-wallet, low-balance blocks), see [How Call Billing Works](/billing/how-billing-works). For changing plans, cancelling, and the Stripe Customer Portal, see [Managing Your Subscription](/billing/subscription).

Annual billing is available on every paid tier at roughly ten months' worth of the monthly price. A new account starts on the [Free Trial](/getting-started/free-trial) if you're eligible for one; once the trial ends (or if you skip it), your account moves to the plan you selected — or to Pay As You Go, described below.

Included minutes and the overage rate work together: once you use up your included minutes for the cycle, further usage is charged automatically at your plan's per-minute overage rate. See [How Call Billing Works](/billing/how-billing-works) for exactly how a call's cost is calculated and how credits and your wallet interact.

## Concurrent calls

Concurrent calls set how many conversations — inbound and outbound combined — your account can have in progress at the same moment. This is the same figure the Batch Scheduler uses to plan pacing for an outbound campaign, so a higher-concurrency plan also lets your batches dial faster.

If a launch genuinely needs more simultaneous calls than your plan allows, Voxworks can raise your account's calling capacity independently of a plan upgrade. Speak to the Voxworks team for further custom configuration.

## Teams and members

Starter, Agency and the Free Trial cap how many teams you can belong to and how many members each team can have; Growth, Professional and Enterprise remove both caps.

| Plan | Teams | Team members |
| ----------------- | --------- | ------------ |
| **Free Trial** | Up to 3 | Up to 10 |
| **Pay As You Go** | 1 | 1 |
| **Starter** | Up to 3 | Up to 10 |
| **Agency** | Up to 3 | Up to 10 |
| **Growth** | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| **Professional** | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| **Enterprise** | Unlimited | Unlimited |

## Feature gates — what each tier unlocks

Beyond the numbers, each tier includes a different set of capabilities. This is the same comparison shown in the **Change subscription plan** dialog when you select **Change Plan** on the Billing page:

| Feature | Trial | PAYG | Starter | Agency | Growth | Professional | Enterprise |

\* Live listening is currently in beta, available to selected invites only — even on a qualifying plan. Reach out to the Voxworks team if you're interested in joining the beta. See [Live Calls & Real-Time Monitoring](/calls/live-monitoring).

Pay As You Go is deliberately the most limited tier: it's the no-commitment fallback for occasional use, not a plan built for API integrations or call recording review.

## The Pay As You Go safety net

Pay As You Go is the account's automatic landing spot whenever there's no active paid plan:

* **Trial ends without a payment method** — if your 14-day trial expires and you selected a paid plan but never added a payment method for it, your account falls back to Pay As You Go automatically rather than being blocked. You can keep placing calls, billed per minute from your wallet, until you add a card and choose a plan.
* **Cancelling a plan** — cancelling from the Billing page keeps your current plan's inclusions (included minutes, subscription-only features) active until the end of the billing period you're already in. At the end of that period, the account switches to Pay As You Go on its own.

Because Pay As You Go has no included minutes, it draws every call's cost directly from your **Wallet Balance** at \$0.99/minute — see [How Call Billing Works](/billing/how-billing-works) for how that charge is calculated.

***

## Add-ons and extra usage

Voxworks doesn't sell separate add-on packs — there's no way to buy extra concurrency or a one-off bundle of minutes on top of your plan. Once you're past your included minutes for the cycle, usage is simply charged at your plan's overage rate and drawn from your **Wallet Balance** automatically. See [Wallet & Top-Ups](/billing/wallet) for topping up and Auto Top-up.

## Changing plans

Use the **Change Plan** button on the **Current Subscription Plan** card in **Settings > Billing** to open the **Change subscription plan** dialog and pick a new tier, or **Contact Sales** for Enterprise. The full mechanics — proration, adding a card mid-flow, and the Stripe Customer Portal — are covered in [Managing Your Subscription](/billing/subscription).
