# Built-in Guidance

> The guides and reference material the Voxworks MCP connector gives an assistant, so it follows Voxworks' own methods without anything to install.

## Nothing to install

When you connect, the assistant gets everything it needs to work the Voxworks way. You don't install anything or paste in instructions.

## Guides for common jobs

The connector includes step-by-step guides the assistant follows when a request matches one:

| Guide | Used when you ask to… |
| - | - |
| **Script workflow** | Change a script or flow — read, edit, preview the difference, check, then save. |
| **Flow review** | Review a script's flow, choose which findings to keep and file them as recommendations. |
| **Recommendation review** | Judge open recommendations and apply, reject or ask for new ones. |
| **Survey authoring** | Turn a questionnaire into a survey and follow it to a successful compile. |
| **Team diagnosis** | Explain calls, batches, automations, phone numbers or usage. |
| **Playbook navigation** | Look up a Voxworks platform fact instead of answering from memory. |

## Reference material

* **These docs.** The assistant can search and read this documentation, and links you to the page it used.
* **The Voxworks playbook.** Detailed reference on how scripts, flows, steps, tools and surveys are built, which the assistant reads before it writes or changes anything.

If an answer seems off, ask the assistant which page it relied on.
