New features
The Test Console gained Scenarios: saved test conversations you re-run after every change. The old Regression tab is now Scenarios. Create Scenario offers Create new, for a blank scenario you write yourself, or Create from persona, where you pick a persona and optionally describe what the call should be about, and the script is walked as that caller and saved as a new scenario. Run Scenarios re-runs every script, flow and step scenario at once, and the table shows whether each result is the Same, Changed, Regressed or Fixed compared with the previous run. See Test Console. Review a scenario run line by line, and approve it. Clicking a scenario opens a side pane with Details, Inputs, History and Messages. Lines that differ from the previous run are marked so you can accept them, mark a line bad, or use Flag this message to file an issue against the script. An approval menu (Approve, Reject, Mark as pending) records whether the current behaviour is what you want, and Re-run queues the scenario again. See Test Console. Turn any real call into a test. A flask button on a call’s details offers Create Scenario, which keeps the caller’s lines and regenerates the assistant’s side on each run, and Create Replay. Hovering an assistant line in the transcript also shows Create a step test from this exchange, which builds a step test from the conversation up to that point. New scenarios appear in the Test Console’s Scenarios tab. See Call details. Replay a recorded call against the current script. A Replay scenario places a real test call to your agent and plays the original caller’s audio back turn by turn, so you can hear how today’s script handles the same person. You can disable individual caller turns, change when each one is played, and add new spoken turns. Replays are billed like any call, run one at a time, and always run with every side effect stubbed: no real SMS, bookings or transfers. See Test Console. Choose which real side effects stay live in a persona test run. The Run A2A Test dialog has a new Tools section with six switches: Send SMS, Calendar booking, Live handoff, Webhooks / external requests, Third-party integrations and Contact updates. All are off by default. A switched-off tool still answers the assistant as if it worked, but nothing real happens. See Test Console. Lists can fill themselves from a membership rule. On the Contacts page, the new-list menu has a From Rules option, and any list you created can be given a Membership rule. You set the conditions a contact has to meet (contact fields, call history, labels, custom variables or connected CRM data, including relative dates such as in the last 30 days), check how many contacts match, and choose how often the rule runs, from Every hour to Only when contacts arrive. You can also decide whether contacts who stop matching are taken out, and cap how many the rule adds. See Membership rules. Connect Agentbox and import your properties, agents and contacts. Agentbox now appears under Available Integrations. Once it is connected, its settings open a full page where you choose What to import, preview the counts, pick the Fields to import, run a pausable Initial import and optionally turn on Also sync to contacts so imported contact profiles become dialable contacts. After the first import, changes are pulled in automatically every night. See Agentbox. Rex now imports properties, agents and contacts too. Rex was previously used only for calendar booking. It now has the same details page as Agentbox, with read-only imports of listings, account users and contacts. Run the import again to pick up changes made in Rex. See Rex. Build reusable email templates for your team. A new Email Templates tab in Settings lets you start from the latest Voxworks system templates or design your own, for post-call, post-batch, daily, weekly and monthly emails. You can set a team default for each type. In an automation’s Email destination, the new Email template field picks a system template, a team template or a One-off custom email. See Email templates. Correct a call’s outcome by hand. Hover the Outcome badge under Call Analysis in a call’s details and click the pencil (Edit call outcome) to choose a different outcome from the ones the call’s script uses. The change saves straight away and shows up in the Outcome column, filters and reports. See Call details. Four single-purpose data collection tools. Data Collection - Name, Data Collection - Date of Birth, Data Collection - Phone and Data Collection - Alphanumeric each collect one value, can look back for a value the caller already gave earlier in the call, and write it to Collected Value. Each reads the value back to confirm it. Name can also spell it letter by letter, and Phone and Alphanumeric check the value’s format. See Data Collection - Name, Date of Birth, Phone & Alphanumeric.Improvements
Personas are now generated for you, with a full profile. New Personas opens a Generate Personas dialog: describe what you want tested and up to 10 varied personas are generated, each with a matching voice. Each persona now has a structured profile (Age, Occupation, Address, a reserved test Mobile, Tone & Personality and Instructions) instead of a single prompt box. See Test Console. The Agent to Agent table shows persona and replay runs side by side. Preset views All, Personas and Replays and a new Type column make it easy to tell simulated-caller runs from replayed calls. See Test Console. The Lists API moved under/api/v1/lists. This is a breaking change. Every list endpoint now sits under one prefix: GET and POST /api/v1/lists, GET, PATCH and DELETE /api/v1/lists/{list_id}, POST and DELETE /api/v1/lists/{list_id}/contacts, and POST /api/v1/lists/{list_id}/contacts/existing. The old paths, such as get-list, create-list and add-contacts-to-list, now return 404, so update any integration that calls them. Request and response bodies are unchanged. See the API reference.
Concurrent call limits are now a hard cap for your plan. Your team never runs more simultaneous calls than its plan allows, whether they are batch calls, scheduled calls or web sessions. This happens automatically, so there is nothing to change in the app. See Dispatch and concurrency. Speak to the Voxworks team for further custom configuration.
Links to older calls now open. A link to a specific call, for example from the automation Execution Log or a contact’s call history, now finds, opens and scrolls to that call even if it’s older than the first page of the Call Log. See Call history.
