Overview

Your saved cards, billing address and invoice history live on two tabs of account Settings: Settings > Billing holds your Payment Methods and Billing Address & Tax ID, and Settings > Invoices holds your invoice list. Both sit alongside General, Members, Usage, Notifications and API Keys in the Settings sub-navigation. Only team members with billing permissions can view or change any of this — account owners always have it. If you don’t, both pages show an alert instead: You cannot manage billing“You do not have permissions to manage billing. Please contact your account owner.” Your default card is what Voxworks charges for subscription renewals, wallet top-ups and any other automatic billing — see Managing Your Subscription and Wallet & Top-Ups for where it’s used.

Payment Methods

The Payment Methods card on Settings > Billing lists every card saved to your account. Before you’ve added one, it reads “No payment methods added yet”. Each saved card shows:
  • Card brand and last 4 digits — e.g. “Visa •••• 4242”
  • Expiry — “Expires 3/2027” (month isn’t zero-padded)
  • A Default badge (star icon) on whichever card is currently your default

Adding a card

Click Add Payment Method to open a dialog titled Add Payment Method“Add a credit or debit card to enable automatic payments and top-ups.” Enter your card number, expiry and CVC into the single embedded card field (“Secure payments powered by Stripe.”), then click Add Payment Method to confirm. Only cards are accepted — no bank transfers or other payment types. The card you add is automatically set as your account’s default payment method, replacing whatever was set before. There’s no separate confirmation step for this — it happens as soon as the card is saved.

Setting a default card

Any non-default card shows a Set as Default button. Clicking it makes that card the one Voxworks charges going forward; the previous default keeps its own Set as Default button so you can switch back at any time.

Removing a card

Click the trash icon on a card to open a confirmation dialog — Remove Payment Method: “Are you sure you want to remove this payment method? This action cannot be undone.” Confirm with Remove, or Cancel to back out. Removing your default card doesn’t automatically promote another saved card — set a new default from the remaining cards if you still need one on file. A default payment method is required before you can change to most paid plans — see Managing Your Subscription. Trial accounts can pick a plan without one on file.

Billing Address & Tax ID

The Billing Address & Tax ID card — “Your company information for invoices and tax purposes” — sits directly below Payment Methods on Settings > Billing. It feeds the company details and ABN printed on every invoice you’re issued. A note under the ABN field reminds you: “Your ABN will appear on all invoices for tax purposes”. Save Changes stays disabled until you’ve edited a field, then saves your details and confirms with “Billing address updated successfully”. There’s no separate edit mode — the form is always editable.

Invoices

The Invoices tab (Settings > Invoices) lists your account’s billing invoices — up to your 50 most recent — independently of the wallet’s own Transaction History (see Wallet & Top-Ups), which covers manual and automatic top-ups rather than invoiced charges.

Filtering invoices

A dropdown at the top of the page — default All Invoices — narrows the list to Paid, Open or Draft. Two further statuses Stripe can return, Uncollectible and Void, are shown with their own coloured badges on any invoice that has them, but aren’t offered as separate filter options — view them by leaving the filter on All Invoices. If nothing matches the current filter, the list reads “No invoices found”.

Reading the list

Each row shows:
  • The billing period (e.g. “March 2026”) and its status badge
  • A short description of what the invoice covers
  • Total Due, formatted in the invoice’s currency
  • Invoiced [date] — the date the invoice was issued

Downloading and viewing invoices

Click the menu on any invoice for:
  • View Invoice — opens Stripe’s hosted invoice page in a new tab
  • Download PDF — opens the invoice’s PDF in a new tab
Either option only appears if Stripe has generated that link for the invoice — very recent or still-processing invoices may briefly show only one, or neither.
